Once Every Never cover reveal and signed sampler contest!!

Because every one needs a pick-me-up by Wednesday, I present to you the cover for Lesley Livingston's new Series, Once Every Never!!!:

Clarinet Reid is a pretty typical teenager. On the surface. She’s smart, but a bit of slacker; outgoing, but just a little insecure; not exactly a mischief-maker… but trouble tends to find her wherever she goes. Also? She unwittingly carries a centuries-old Druid Blood Curse running through her veins.
Now, with a single thoughtless act, what started off as the Summer Vacation in Dullsville suddenly spirals into a deadly race to find a stolen artifact, avert an explosive catastrophe, save a Celtic warrior princess, right a dreadful wrong that happened centuries before Clare was even born, and if there’s still time—literally—maybe even get a date.
This is the kind of adventure that happens to a girl once every… never.
And because a good contest can only make your day better.... That's right, enter here for the first chance to read the first two chapters of the book!  These will be collectors pieces folks, I will be giving 5 bound and signed samplers of the first two chapters of Once Every Never from Lesley Livingston, author of Wondrous Strange, Darklight and Tempestuous!!

This contest will be international, and will end on February 20th, 2011 at  midnight.  I ask that you fill out the form below and then comment on this post to let us know: if there was one historical event you could go back in time to participate in, what would it be?  Would there be someone specific you would like to meet?

  1. I can't really say, I like the time period I'm in and that's a tough question and your making my brain work :) I think it would have been interesting to be there when we landed on the moon, to have that wonder and excitement. I also would have loved to have been able to see Elvis perform, the real elvis and not some actor from Vegas :)

  4. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!

I would love to go back in time and be part of the Roman Empire or ancient Greece (Bysantine Empire).. anything along the European area back in time. I love history and would definitely loved to have had the opportunity to have seen the way we have evolved since then with my own eyes. I would have also loved to have met the Greek Philosophers at the time.

  6. This might sound weird but I think I would like to be in New York shortly after 9/11. I feel like I don't really understand how much impact this event had on the American citizens. Of course it must have been horrible and I'm probably glad I don't have a very viviv experience of it but it'd still be interesting, especially to see how it changed people in the days after the event.

  7. I would love to go back to 18th century England! I fell in love with the fashion then I just found myself falling in love with how England was like during that time. Plus, the pirates were a bonus (ha). I would probably like to meet myself as a reincarnation of that time. I've been fascinated with reincarnations.

My answer is going to be a bit shallow. =P I'd love to travel back in time to see Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet in concert in the 80s! =D

Thanks for making this international! Samplers are a great idea, I think.
