12:30 am- Dewey Update

First episode of Titanic has been watched, and salted carmel cheesecake has been eaten.  I might possibly explode. And yet, I am totally looking forward to a fruit cheese plate in my late night future. Possibly with a clandestine cup of stove top percolated coffee.  Who has coffee in the middle of the night when they're no longer in school I ask you?  Readathoners, that's who.
This is cheddar trying to nab some of my already partially demolished cheese cake.  He's no dummy.
The Hubby finished his monstrous big book Nocturnal by Scott Sigler, and has moved on to book 2 Sacre Bleu, by Christopher Moore.  His book is now officially prettier than mine.
Speaking of which, I'm 53 pages into The Name of the Star and loving it.  Creepy opening scene, and now truly funny main character bungling her way through a new foreign school.  This is definitely a good late night pick.
The kids officially decided it was past bedtime until we got ready for bed and then I came back to the living room.  At which point everyone got a second wind and there is currently much running about happening.  I predict a mega crash in about 15 minutes, at which point the hubby will likely get two kitties and I'll likely get two.  Though everyone might stay with me just due to the novelty factor.

Hours ago I was supposed to do this, and somehow I missed it!  But here you go:
1) How are you doing? Sleepy? Are your eyes tired?
I'm doing great, not sleepy in the slightest, but I have a week of bed rest behind me, so I'm a cheater.
2) What have you finished reading?
An Abundance of Katherine's (John Green)
Hugo Cabaret (Brian Selznick, you know, the one nobody thanked at the Oscars)
and Sisters in Glass (Stephanie Hillsen)
3) What is your favorite read so far?
Hmmm, tough choice Maybe An Abundance of Katherine's?
4) What about your favorite snacks?
Oh MY GOD!  They've all been so super good.  Cheese cake has been pretty spectacular.
5) Have you found any new blogs through the readathon? If so, give them some love!
I haven't really, Twitter seems quiet on the blog front, though I've been looking.

Now, back I go!
