There was a wedding. I made a dress. It was in a tiny remote resort in the mountains of B.C.. It took 5.5 hours of flying and a further 3 hours of driving to get there. It snowed like crazy upon arrival in Calgary. We saw a moose, a black bear and a pile of elk. We over-ate, and loved every minute of it! So how about some photos hey?
The glowing newly weds. The groom had a custom tailored suit from London. I am incredibly sad I couldn't dog him to his fittings.
Side view of the bride.
Close up side view of the bride.
Dancing bride. Dress in motion. Charming maid of honour cutting a rug. Also wearing one of the hair pieces I made.
Bride and groom dancing. Dress bustled and a look at two of the hairpieces I made.
Brides beautiful contribution to the look of the day, an angora bolero sweater. Sadly it got the groom very hairy. Also, look at that backdrop, it doesn't even look real!
One of the many stunning views of Emerald lake.
No shortage of the stunning, this is down the road at the natural bridge.
The black bear. I told you we saw one!
Two of the many elk we saw, and a stranger. Every good picture aught to have stranger. Also, he's foolishly close. That's not a pet dog Mr.
The main reason why there were a couple of missing posts this week. Our gorgeous cabin room, with a view and a fireplace, but no Internet, T.V. or cell coverage. In other words, book lovers paradise.
So there you go! A finished dress, a fabulous holiday and a tired me trying to recuperate. What's that you say? I still owe you? I do. No worries, I will have crazy Giving me the Creeps fuzzies for you shortly. And some more reviews as well.
In other news, I read A Casual Vacancy while I was away. I am no longer sad to not be seeing J.K. Rowling in NYC tonight. I was underwhelmed and deeply depressed by the time I finished it last night. Have you read it yet?
