Sunday Link Salad

Oh peoples, my life has been consumed by baby consumerism worries! Seriously, why are there so many choices for everything??! It's exhausting to research every, single, little, thing! Sigh.  The kitties are enjoying my long bouts of Internet time while seated quietly, but the blog- it suffers.  So I bring you the link salad, belated but no less linky.

-Word has been abundant across the webs about the big release date for Book 3 (as of yet, still no title) from the Divergent series.  I am worried about this one, as Veronica said in an interview that she had not planned out how it would end. Yah, see? October 22 is the big day.

-Lauren Oliver has more casting news on the Delirium TV series, Thomas Fineman (you may recognise him from The Killing) has been cast as Julian's father.  I don't remember who Julian is, apparently I need to do some backtracking in my reading!

-It's been a big week for cover reveals!  C.J. Redwine has revealed the cover of book 2- Deception (along with the blurb)The Diviners, by Libba Bray has had a smallish make over for the paperback edition (the hardcover is still my fave), and Lesley Livingston revealed the cover to part two of the Starling series- Descendant.  Kat Zhang doesn't have a cover reveal yet, however she does have the blurb and a title for those of you salivating for book two in her series, and Robin Lafevers has teased us with this gorgeous mock up for Grave Mercy! Yea gads, and I thought I liked the published cover! This is me shedding little tears of sadness for the loss of this mock up.

-Speaking of His Fair Assassins trilogy, head on over to the HMH kids app on facebook for your chance to preview part two Dark Triumph.

-A variety of Kiera Cass, The Selection deleted scenes have gone up for fans of the series who are eagerly awaiting the March release of her tie-in e-novella.
-More announcements have been made about the author Breakfasts at BEA this year.  If you haven't checked in recently, make sure to have a look and scope out who some of the attendees are.

-Cassandra Clare has dropped her weekly allotment of teasers.  First up is an unidentified snippet, followed by a City of Heavenly Fire snippet.  She also revealed the release dates and synopsis's of the various upcoming Bane Chronicles.
